Reading the Summer Fun Way


There are lots of fun ways to keep your reading skills strong all summer long!  


Remember, your reading goal and don't forget to track your hours!

Gold:  30 hours
Silver:  22.5 hours
Bronze:  15 hours



This summer's READING challenges:

#1  Use Raz Kids or Moby Max for
      five hours of your practice time.
#2  Write a letter to a friend or relative
     that has to be mailed.  Address the
     letter yourself.
#3  Keep a journal of special summer
     memories.
#4  Read a favorite story to a neighbor
     or relative.
#5  Participate in the public library’s
      summer reading program.
#6  Create a story or book  using an
     electronic tool (see Symbaloo)
#7 Create your own reading learning
    challenge activity.  Post it on the blog  
    to share with others.
#8 Make a book club and join up with 1-2
    friends to read and talk about books
